The Poolside Web Assistant provides a browser-based chat experience for interacting with Poolside from anywhere within your internal network.
The Poolside Web Assistant does not currently support agent mode. For agent mode capabilities, use Poolside Assistant or the Poolside Agent CLI.

Key features

The Poolside Web Assistant includes a chat workspace with a sidebar for navigation and conversation history. In the Poolside Web Assistant you can:
  • Start a new conversation with New Chat
  • Reopen recent conversations from the sidebar
  • Automatically save conversations with summaries so you can quickly return to previous discussions
  • Use search from the sidebar or with Command+K (macOS) or Ctrl+K (Windows and Linux) to find conversations, open settings, or navigate to other Poolside resources
  • Open settings or manage API keys
  • Access the Poolside Web Assistant from any browser within your organization’s network

Search and navigation

You can use search to quickly find conversations, open settings, or navigate to related Poolside resources. Open search from the navigation sidebar or by pressing Command+K (macOS) or Ctrl+K (Windows and Linux). From the search dialog you can:
  • View recent conversations
  • Open preferences such as theme settings
  • Navigate to the Poolside Console, Developer API Keys, or Settings
  • Change the theme to light or dark mode
To close search, press Esc or click outside the dialog.

Settings and preferences

To access settings for the Poolside Web Assistant, click your username, and then select Settings. You can set preferences such as:
  • Change the Poolside model
  • Wrap lines in code snippets
  • Enable font ligatures in code snippets
  • Change the theme to light, dark, or system mode
  • Set or change the URL of your API server (requires the tenant-admin role)
  • Delete all conversations
