Overview

Users represent the people who can access your Poolside organization. You assign users to one or more teams, and roles assigned to those teams grant permissions. You manage users from Organization > https://mintcdn.com/poolside/fyUKzbRkxqIwtXwu/images/icons/users-icon.svg?fit=max&auto=format&n=fyUKzbRkxqIwtXwu&q=85&s=35cf23a65cb2e78461fe1ec581c06d88 Users in the Poolside Console.

How users receive access

You assign users to one or more teams. Each team has a single role, and roles define permissions. Users inherit permissions through their team memberships. If a user belongs to multiple teams, Poolside combines the permissions from each assigned role. Poolside applies changes to team membership or role assignments immediately.

Options for adding users

You can add users to your organization in the following ways:
  • Invite manually: Invite users individually by email.
  • Import from CSV: Add multiple users at once using a CSV file.
  • Automated provisioning: Manage users through SCIM 2.0.
For automated provisioning, see User provisioning.
